Sambhal Court Orders FIR Against Police Officials in 2024 Violence Case

A court in Sambhal has ordered the registration of an FIR against 12 police personnel, including Additional Superintendent of Police Anuj Chaudhary and Inspector Anuj Tomar. The order stems from a petition filed by Yameen, alleging his son Alam was shot by police during violence on November 24, 2024, near the Shahi Jama Masjid. The violence occurred during a court-mandated survey. While the victim's family claims police fired on his son, police stated they used 'mild force' to control protesters. Five people reportedly died in the incident.
