Two Arrested in Dakshina Kannada with 106 kg Cannabis Seized by Police

Police in Dakshina Kannada district, Karnataka, arrested two men, Rafiq P and Abdul Sadiq, both from Charmadi village, for transporting 106 kg of cannabis valued at approximately Rs 53 lakh. The contraband, packed in 73 packets, was seized from a car and a goods vehicle intercepted by Puttur Rural Police on January 19. The accused reportedly intended to sell the cannabis in Kerala and Mangaluru. Vehicles and mobile phones were also confiscated, and a case under the NDPS Act has been registered.
