Mechanic Killed in Bengaluru After Refusing to Pay Protection Money

In Bengaluru's Wilson Garden, 45-year-old mechanic Rasheed Pasha was allegedly beaten to death by three men after he refused to pay Rs 50,000 as protection money related to his new shop construction. The assault, involving a cricket bat and bamboo sticks, occurred in front of his two children around 9 pm. Police have registered a murder case, launched a manhunt, and are investigating the incident. The victim was taken to Victoria Hospital, where he later died.
