
In Navi Mumbai, a 21-year-old woman, Prachiti Bhikuram Bhuvad, died after receiving two injections from Sandesh Yashwant Pashte, who falsely posed as a doctor to treat her irregular periods. Pashte claimed she had Polycystic Ovary Disorder and charged Rs 15,000 for a five-injection course. After Bhuvad fell unconscious, she was hospitalized and died two hours later. Pashte admitted to being a ward boy at a private nursing home and was arrested on charges including culpable homicide and cheating by personation.
