Acid Attack and Related Assaults Investigated at Gurugram Civil Hospital

In Gurugram, a 24-year-old woman from Nuh was assaulted by her live-in partner, Pawan, who hit her with a rod before following her to Civil Hospital and throwing acid on her, causing severe burns. The victim was referred to PGIMS Rohtak for treatment. Separately, a 32-year-old woman was mistakenly attacked with acid at the hospital, believed to be targeted due to similar clothing. Additionally, a woman named Sakshi was arrested for throwing toilet cleaner at a patient, mistaking her for her husband's girlfriend. Police are investigating all incidents and have arrested the accused.
