A 24-year-old man, Nikesh Kumar, was arrested for allegedly impersonating gangster Arzoo Bishnoi and demanding Rs 50 lakh in extortion from a jeweller in Abohar. Kumar, a graduate who runs a grocery store, reportedly used WhatsApp to make the threats after watching similar videos online. He sustained a leg fracture while attempting to evade police capture. Kumar has no prior criminal record and has been remanded to police custody for further investigation.
