Chhattisgarh Transfers Triple Murder Probe Linked to Sand Mining Rivalry to CBI
The Chhattisgarh government has transferred the investigation of a triple murder linked to a rivalry over sand mining in Korea district to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The victims, including businessman Bharat Singh, were attacked after their SUV was rammed and set on fire. Four members of the rival Tripathi family were arrested. The state home department issued the notification, with officials citing a prolonged dispute between the Singh and Tripathi families. Two injured eyewitnesses are providing statements under protection.
