The partially burnt body of a 47-year-old traffic police ASI, Rakesh Meena, was discovered in his Udaipur residence on Tuesday. He had been absent from duty since December 21. His wife, unable to reach him, asked a neighbor to check. The neighbor alerted police after smelling smoke. Authorities broke down the door and found Meena's body on a burnt bed. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
