A police officer shot an accused individual in the leg in Gujarat's Dahod district after the suspect allegedly attempted to strangle a sub-inspector with a seatbelt inside a moving vehicle. The incident occurred while transporting the accused, identified as Ashok Punaram Panwar, from Guwahati to Gandhinagar. Police stated that the officer fired to control the situation when the suspect resisted commands to stop. Panwar reportedly has multiple cases registered against him.
