Tirupati police have opened 187 POCSO sheets in 2025 to monitor individuals accused in sexual offenses against children, a move aimed at strengthening child protection. The district recorded 10 POCSO and rape cases, leading to nine convictions, including four life sentences. Police also focused on awareness programs and the Shakti app for women's safety. Cybercrime cases decreased, but financial losses from scams increased.
