Body of 19-Year-Old Found After Being Swept Away in Narmada Canal During Holi

After a 19-year-old man, Harshal Vasava, was swept away while bathing in the Narmada Canal near Segva village in Vadodara district during Holi, search teams recovered his body nearly 48 hours later. The rescue operation covered nine kilometers of the canal. Following the incident, Vadodara police have prohibited bathing in local rivers, lakes, and canals during the festival and will enforce patrols to prevent violations, especially around the Mahisagar river on Dhuleti.
