A 25-year-old woman in Mumbai has been arrested for allegedly attacking her married lover with a sharp weapon and severing his private parts on New Year's Eve. The incident occurred after the man, with whom she reportedly had a seven-year affair, refused to leave his wife and marry her. The woman allegedly invited him to her home, where the attack took place while her children were asleep. The victim sustained severe injuries and required hospitalization.
