Hyderabad She Teams Detain Over 390 for Harassment in Early 2026 Operations

Between January 1 and February 15, Hyderabad's She Teams detained over 390 individuals for harassing women and girls in public and digital spaces. In Malkajgiri, 130 people, including minors, were held following 148 complaints involving phone, social media, and physical harassment, resulting in criminal and petty cases and counseling sessions. During the Numaish exhibition, 264 persons were detained for harassment, with 52 convictions reported. The teams employed surveillance and decoy operations to address misconduct.
