Three undertrial prisoners accused of rape, murder, and kidnapping escaped from Khachrod sub-jail in Ujjain district, Madhya Pradesh, on Thursday evening. The escapees, identified as Narayan Jat, Govind, and Gopal Lal, were reportedly involved in cleaning work when they fled. Authorities launched a manhunt, utilizing CCTV footage and informant networks, but initial searches at their registered addresses were unsuccessful. The jailbreak has raised concerns about security protocols within the facility.
