Heroin Seizures and Pakistani Smuggler Arrested in Tarn Taran Border Area

In Tarn Taran district, Punjab, authorities seized significant heroin consignments amid ongoing investigations. On Sunday, Khalra police recovered 712 grams of heroin from a farmer's field in Rajoke village, reportedly dropped by a drone from Pakistan. The next day, a joint Narcotics Control Bureau and Border Security Force operation arrested Pakistani national Abu Bakar with 10 kg of heroin near the Indo-Pak border. Investigations are probing cross-border smuggling links, including possible connections to intelligence and militant groups.
