An executive engineer from Maharashtra's Jalna irrigation department was apprehended by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for allegedly accepting a Rs 1 lakh bribe. The bribe was reportedly to expedite the processing of compensation for land acquisition. The official was caught red-handed at his office on Thursday, following a complaint lodged with the ACB.
