Punjab-Haryana High Court Summons Punjab DGP Over Gurdaspur Encounter Case

Police allege Ranjit fled custody and fired at officers before being shot, while his family disputes this, claiming he was killed in custody. The family has petitioned for an independent investigation, citing concerns over police and medical records controlled by the state.
