Fire in Mumbai's Bandra West Building Kills One, Injures Two Firemen
A fire broke out late Wednesday night on the seventh floor of the Atlantic Building on Sherly Rajan Road in Mumbai's Bandra West, affecting rooms 701 and 702. The blaze, confined to electrical wiring and household items, resulted in the death of 64-year-old Azim Barodawala. Two firemen, Shivshankar Bharat Puri and Navnath Mohan Bite, were hospitalized with suffocation but are in stable condition. The fire was extinguished by 11:50 pm, and investigations into the cause are ongoing.
