In Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, a murder accused with multiple cases was shot in the leg by a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) during a raid. The accused allegedly attacked a sub-inspector with a sickle, injuring his hand. The DSP then fired a shot in self-defense, hitting the accused in the knee. Both the sub-inspector and the accused are receiving medical treatment.
