A 52-year-old cyclist, Ashok Kumar Sharma, was fatally struck by a speeding BMW SUV in Noida on Monday night. The driver, identified as 35-year-old property dealer Mankul Mahajan, was arrested. Mahajan claims the cyclist suddenly appeared in dense fog. Eyewitnesses reported the car skidded significantly after impact. Sharma, a factory worker, was returning home and is survived by his wife and two sons. Police registered a case and are seeking custody of the driver.
