Two Men Arrested in Jalandhar After Encounter Linked to January 16 Murder

Punjab Police arrested two men, Chandra Shekhar and Jaspal Singh, in connection with the January 16 murder of 26-year-old Kesar Dhami near Sant Baba Bhag Singh University in Jalandhar. The accused sustained leg injuries during a police encounter after allegedly opening fire while retrieving concealed weapons. Police recovered two pistols, cartridges, shells, and a motorcycle linked to the crime. Investigations are ongoing under the supervision of senior police officials.
