A 50-year-old man, Santosh Kumar Yadav, died from severe burns after a fire broke out in his makeshift hut in Kokta, Bhopal. Police reported that Yadav lit a fire for warmth due to the cold, which spread to his bedding and engulfed the hut. Neighbors attempted to rescue him but he succumbed to his injuries. An accidental death case has been registered, and further investigation is ongoing.
