Two Minor Sisters Drown While Bathing in Canal in Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh

In Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh, two minor sisters aged seven and ten drowned while bathing in a canal in Itai Rampur village on March 6. According to Utraula Circle Officer Raghvendra Pratap Singh, the girls slipped into deep water and despite locals rushing to rescue them, they drowned before help arrived. Police recovered the bodies with villagers' assistance and handed them over to the family after completing legal formalities.
