Two brothers, Soundarapandi (52) and Chandran (48), died in a car accident near Thirupuvanam on the Madurai-Rameswaram National Highway. The collision occurred when their car rear-ended a truck that had braked suddenly to avoid a motorcycle. Six other family members traveling with them sustained injuries and were hospitalized in Madurai. Fire and rescue services assisted in retrieving the deceased from the damaged vehicle. Police are investigating the incident.
