Four people were injured on New Year's Eve when an SUV allegedly driven by an intoxicated advocate, Sunil Kumar Singh, crashed into pedestrians near Bengaluru's Mall of Asia. The vehicle reportedly lost control after hitting iron barricades, striking several individuals. Police have registered cases against the driver for rash and negligent driving, and also against the mall management for inadequate safety measures. The injured were hospitalized, with one minor escaping with minor injuries.
