Maharashtra Tribunals Award Compensation in Separate Road Accident Cases

Two Motor Accident Claims Tribunals in Maharashtra awarded compensation in separate cases involving road accidents caused by negligent drivers. In Mumbai, a 26-year-old man received Rs 25 lakh after permanent disability from a juvenile-driven vehicle accident in 2018. In Thane, the family of a man killed in a 2017 crash caused by a driver without a valid license was awarded Rs 46.55 lakh. Both tribunals emphasized driver negligence and directed insurers to pay compensation.
