Haryana Police Arrest Drug Traffickers and Seize Narcotics Worth Crores in Operations
In Haryana, police conducted significant anti-drug operations resulting in the arrest of two alleged interstate traffickers with over 13 kilograms of opium and seizure of property worth around Rs 30 lakh. Separately, Ambala Range authorities reported 95 NDPS cases and seized narcotics valued at over Rs 7.52 crore during Operation Maidan 2.0, which included heroin, opium, cannabis, and illicit liquor. The campaign also involved arrests, asset seizures, surveillance enhancements, and demolition of illegal structures to curb drug trafficking.
