The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) dismantled an international drug trafficking network spanning Nepal, India, and Sri Lanka, arresting five individuals, including a Sri Lankan refugee. Authorities seized over 77 kg of hashish oil and 2 kg of charas during coordinated operations in Telangana and Tamil Nadu. The narcotics were smuggled from Kathmandu into India via the Sonauli border and intended for maritime transfer to Sri Lanka. The Indian Coast Guard intercepted a fishing boat involved in the planned sea route, and investigations continue into the network's financing and coordination.
