Mumbai Man Booked for Assaulting Girlfriend and Creating Disturbance at Police Station

On March 1, Mumbai police registered FIRs against 28-year-old Gaurav Singh for verbally abusing and physically assaulting his 22-year-old girlfriend, Tanvi Jain, at a restaurant in Khar West. Police intervened after receiving a call from Jain, who reported feeling unsafe. Singh allegedly misbehaved with restaurant staff and caused a disturbance at Santacruz police station, where he threatened his girlfriend, attempted to attack her, verbally abused officers, and damaged property while reportedly under the influence of alcohol.
