SIT Investigates Custodial Death of Sai Krishna in Andhra Pradesh Police Custody
The Andhra Pradesh Special Investigation Team (SIT) is probing the custodial death of 24-year-old Gade Sai Krishna, who died while in police custody at Krishnalanka police station in Vijayawada. The SIT has arrested Circle Inspector S S V V Nagaraju and detained his close associate Suresh, suspected of aiding in disposing of Sai Krishna's body. Two head constables remain absconding as investigations continue into illegal detention, alleged torture, and a cover-up. Sai Krishna's family had repeatedly sought information before approaching the High Court.
