Three Arrested for Abduction and Murder of Dalit Man in Rajkot, Gujarat

Three individuals—Ravi, Sagar, and Gopal Jograna—have been arrested in Rajkot, Gujarat, for the abduction and murder of Bhavesh Vanvi, a Dalit man. Vanvi was allegedly abducted on March 15 by Hamir Jograna, who remains absconding, and others after Vanvi filed a complaint against Hamir's business. The accused reportedly assaulted Vanvi with weapons, causing fatal injuries. Vanvi had a criminal record, and tensions arose as he was linked to a woman associated with Hamir. Police have filed charges under relevant laws including the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Act.
