Mumbai Police File FIR Against Three Hawkers for Offering Namaz at Malad Station

Three hawkers at Mumbai's Malad railway station faced police action after a video of them offering namaz on station premises went viral. The Railway Protection Force registered a case under Section 147 of the Railway Act for trespassing, while the Government Railway Police filed another under Section 168 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita following a complaint by the station master. BJP leader Kirit Somaiya demanded strict action and submitted a letter to the police. The accused have been identified and reside in the local area.
