Police Investigate Multiple Cases of Fraudulent Overseas Travel Promises in Punjab

Police in Ludhiana and Sultanpur Lodhi have registered cases against individuals accused of defrauding people by promising overseas travel arrangements. In Ludhiana, a travel agent allegedly took Rs 20 lakh from three Rajasthan youths but delayed processing their files and refused to return the money. In Sultanpur Lodhi, a woman claims she was cheated of Rs 6.55 lakh by a man who failed to arrange her foreign travel or refund the amount. Investigations are ongoing in both cases.
