A 14-year-old girl who ran away from home due to a family dispute and subsequently lived on the streets, was allegedly sold into marriage and died after a 40-day battle for life in a Delhi hospital. She was found in critical condition in Panipat, Haryana, and later admitted to GTB Hospital. Her statement to police alleged she was sold and forcibly married before escaping. An FIR has been registered, and her parents' role is under scrutiny.
