Delhi Police Investigates Death Threats Against Defence Entrepreneur Sahil Luthra

Defence entrepreneur Sahil Luthra has reported fresh death threats linked to a firing incident at his Amritsar residence in November 2024. The threats, received via international VoIP calls traced to countries including Portugal and Germany, warned of escalated attacks despite his security cover. Luthra alleged a Rs 10 crore extortion demand in August 2025. Delhi Police has referred the case to the Special Cell, investigating possible connections to banned outfits and similarities with other extortion cases. The firing incident remains under Punjab Police investigation.
