Lucknow Police reported a significant decrease in murder cases and zero dacoity incidents in 2025, attributing this success to preventive policing and intensified patrols. Officials stated that 525 accused were taken into judicial custody for murder, with three booked under the NSA. The police also arrested 110 reward-carrying criminals, including 55 in encounters, and attached properties worth ₹4.90 crore. Under 'Operation Conviction,' 829 criminals were convicted, and 139 accused in crimes against women and minors received sentences, including one death penalty and 46 life imprisonments.
