Hyderabad police have arrested a 21-year-old software engineer, Sushmita Devi alias Lilly, her boyfriend Ummidi Immanuel, and two others for allegedly operating a drug network. Authorities seized narcotics including ganja, MDMA, LSD, and ecstasy pills, valued at approximately Rs 3 lakh, along with cash and mobile phones. Investigators suspect Immanuel procured drugs via the dark web using cryptocurrency for payments, while Lilly managed online transactions and distribution. Sai Kumar allegedly assisted with local transport, and Ayyappa is believed to be a consumer. Cases have been registered under the NDPS Act.
