
Mumbai authorities conducted multiple operations targeting drug and fuel smuggling. The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence seized narcotics worth 17.55 crore, including cocaine, cannabis, hydroponic weed, and amphetamine, arresting 10 individuals linked to trafficking networks in Maharashtra and Goa. Separately, Mumbai Customs seized 40 tonnes of diesel valued at around 1 crore from a foreign vessel, detaining five crew members. Additional narcotics seizures at Mumbai airport involved nearly 20 kg of hydroponic weed, with arrests made under the NDPS Act. Investigations are ongoing in both cases.
