ICE Operation in Compton Leads to Shooting Incident and Multiple Arrests

A targeted ICE operation took place in Compton, Los Angeles County, early Wednesday morning to arrest William Eduardo Moran Carballo, wanted on charges including human smuggling and domestic abuse. During the operation, Carballo allegedly rammed a vehicle into a US Customs and Border Protection officer and fired shots. The officer fired defensive shots in response, but no one was injured. Three suspects, including Carballo, were detained. Authorities have not disclosed further details about the operation.
