Truck Driver Dies in Collision with Bus on Pune-Bengaluru Highway; Several Injured

Early Tuesday morning, a truck carrying iron rods collided with a bus near the Katraj Ghat stretch on the Pune-Bengaluru highway, between the Katraj Tunnel and Navale Bridge. The truck's front cabin was severely damaged, resulting in the death of the truck driver, Hussain Abbas Sayyed. Four to six bus passengers sustained minor injuries and received medical treatment. Rescue efforts included fire brigade assistance, and police investigations are ongoing to determine the cause, with speeding suspected.
