Varanasi Women, Including Traders' Body Chief, Accused of Stealing Undergarments

Three women, including Sunita Soni, president of the Varanasi Mahila Vyapar Mandal, have been accused of stealing undergarments worth approximately Rs 10,000 from a shop in Varanasi's Lahurabir area on February 24. The alleged theft was captured on CCTV, showing one woman distracting staff while the others concealed items. An FIR under IPC Section 379 has been registered, and police are investigating. Soni denies involvement, stating she visited the shop but did not purchase anything and will cooperate with authorities.
