Bengaluru Police have arrested two individuals, identified as an autorickshaw driver and a software engineer, for allegedly posting obscene and derogatory content targeting Vijayalakshmi, wife of Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa. The arrests followed a complaint filed by Vijayalakshmi, who reported over 18 individuals involved in spreading offensive material on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Police confirmed the investigation into the defamatory posts.
