Self-Styled Godman Arrested for Alleged Rape Under Pretext of Medicine to Conceive Son

A self-styled godman named Bhagwandin, who has practiced occultism and provided traditional medicines for several years, was arrested after allegedly raping a woman. The victim's husband and mother-in-law had taken her to Bhagwandin's house, where he promised a son through rituals and medicine. On March 11, after rituals, he took the woman to a relative's home under the pretext of administering medicine and assaulted her. The victim was rescued by family members, and an FIR was filed. Police are investigating and collecting evidence.
