A 21-year-old man, Manjunath, was fatally stabbed in Karnataka's Chikkamagaluru district after posting a birthday message for his former girlfriend on social media. Police arrested four individuals, including the woman's brother, Kiran, and her fiancé, Venu. The confrontation reportedly began when Kiran questioned Manjunath about the message and prior warnings not to contact his sister. A physical altercation ensued, leading to Manjunath being stabbed multiple times and later succumbing to his injuries.
