Two police officers were killed in separate incidents in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Monday. In Tank district, one officer was shot while returning home, and another was abducted and later killed. Officials are investigating both incidents as targeted attacks. The government attributes such attacks to the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), particularly following the end of their ceasefire.
