Former Employee Arrested for Theft of Rs 5.40 Lakh from BJP MP Manoj Tiwari's Mumbai Home

A theft of Rs 5.40 lakh was reported from BJP MP Manoj Tiwari's Mumbai residence in Andheri West. The accused, Surendrakumar Deenanath Sharma, a former employee dismissed two years ago, allegedly used duplicate keys to steal cash from a cupboard. CCTV footage installed in December 2025 captured Sharma stealing Rs 1 lakh on January 15, 2026, leading to his arrest. He confessed to an earlier theft of Rs 4.40 lakh in June 2025. Police investigations are ongoing.
