Punjab Police Detain Most-Wanted Gangster Amritpal Singh at Moldova Border

Amritpal Singh, alias Amrit Dalam, a most-wanted gangster linked to the Jaggu Bhagwanpuria gang, was detained at the Moldova border based on an Interpol Red Notice requested by Punjab Police with central agency coordination. Wanted in multiple serious criminal cases including extortion and murder, he had been absconding abroad. Legal and diplomatic steps are underway for his extradition to India. Punjab Police's Overseas Fugitive Tracking Cell is pursuing 61 gangsters hiding internationally, marking this detention as a significant enforcement milestone.
