Delhi Police Arrest Sikkim-Based Man in Rs 13,000 Crore Drug Trafficking Case

Delhi Police's Special Cell arrested Tilak Prasad Sharma, a 40-year-old man from Sikkim, in connection with a Rs 13,000 crore drug trafficking case involving cannabis sourced from Thailand. The arrest follows a major crackdown on October 2, 2024, when cocaine and cannabis worth Rs 13,000 crore were seized across Delhi, Gujarat, and Punjab. Over 15 people have been arrested, while the syndicate's mastermind, Virendra Basoya, and his son Rishabh remain abroad, with a Red Corner Notice issued against the latter. Investigations continue.
