A leopard attacked residents in three villages in Himachal Pradesh's Mandi district on Wednesday, killing one person and injuring nine others. The deceased, identified as Balbir Singh, was visiting relatives. The injured, including several with serious wounds, are receiving medical treatment. Villagers armed with weapons cornered and killed the leopard after it attacked them. Forest officials are investigating the incident, with preliminary findings suggesting the animal was old and possibly venturing out for easier prey.
