Loading Supervisor Arrested in Mumbai Cab Driver's Death from Trailer Accident

Mumbai police arrested Santosh Singh, a loading supervisor with Shubham Shipping Company, in connection with the death of 28-year-old cab driver Mohammad Jameer Hasinuddin. Jameer died on February 27 when a 40-tonne iron plate fell from an overturned trailer onto his vehicle beneath the Eastern Freeway bridge in Wadala. The trailer driver and cleaner were previously arrested. The consignment, a second-hand machine from China, was being transported to Surat. Rescue efforts lasted several hours due to the heavy load.
